Welcome to my research page! I am a research scientist in the Department of Fish & Wildlife Conservation at Virginia Tech and the USGS Virginia Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit. I received my PhD in 2016 from Virginia Tech and was a fellow with the Interfaces of Global Change Program. I am landscape ecologist and a wildlife researcher. My research is focused on species distribution and habitat associations in climate-sensitive systems.
My current work is funded by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Monongahela National Forest, Canyon de Chelly National Monument, Navajo National Monument, Capitol Reef National Park, Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Natural Bridge National Monument, and Hovenweep National Monument. Past funders include the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission, Blue Ridge Parkway, San Diego Natural History Museum, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Great Smoky Mountains Conservation Association, Pennsylvania Game Commission, and the West Virginia Department of Highways. |
